Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Chief Communications Officer
Mr. Robert Ferris is Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Chief Communications Officer for Axalta Coating Systems and leads the Company’s internal and external communications strategies and Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. He will also take a leadership role in driving a global government relations strategy for the company. Before joining Axalta, he was Vice President, External Communications and Public Affairs at Honeywell, a $40 billion multi-national industrial company. At Honeywell, Mr. Ferris was chief spokesperson on all global corporate and financial media, developed and executed a corporate positioning and thought leadership strategy, and was a member of its global communications leadership council and global government relations team. Earlier in his career, he was Senior Vice President at the GCI Group, a global PR Agency in New York City where he provided counsel to firms on corporate and capital market strategic issues including M&A, IPOs, crisis communications and regulatory compliance. Prior to working at GCI, Robert was Assistant Vice President at Bull & Bear Securities. Mr. Ferris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.
