Strenex® 220 Series

A fast-dry very low VOC water-based shop primer for structural steel, steel framing, joists, and general maintenance. This coating is intended to provide protection to metal components during delivery, storage on site, and erection in an atmosphere comparable with SSPC Environmental Zone 1A and 1B, normally dry. This coating is intended to be used as a holding primer that may or may not be removed before or after erection or assembly in the field. Strenex® 220 series can be used for:

This product is a universal primer formulated to accept solvent based alkyds, acrylics or polyurethane topcoats without the need for sanding or abrasion of its surface. Strenex® 602 Series

A two-component direct-to-metal (DTM), semi-gloss polyurethane coating designed to provide corrosion protection and a tough finish coat direct to properly prepared steel substrates. This product line has excellent adhesion, hardness, impact resistance, chemical resistance and exterior UV stability and is formulated for VOC Compliance (<2.8 lb./gal).
