Alesta® Codification
Designation procedure
In order to avoid duplication or incomprehensible codes, all manufacturing
sites will follow the same designation rules.
The procedure as described hereunder explains for each digit how to build
and understand the Alesta® code, depending on the product chemistry
and properties.
1st and 2nd character
2 Letters that indicate the product chemistry and hardener
3rd character
Number that indicates the gloss, measurable and non-measurable
Non-measurable gloss - Leatherette, hammer & antique products
